BIG BOWL ENTREES

J. Gumbo's Red Beans & RiceRed Beans & Rice
Slow-cooked red beans with yellow onion, smoked sausage and Cajun spices.

Jambalaya
Traditional Creole-style jambalaya with tender chicken, sausage and the “trinity” (bell pepper, onion and celery).

Bourbon Street Chicken
Tender chicken slow-cooked in a lightly sweet butter-hoison sauce. Perfect for those who like it on the mild-side.

Garden Creole (v)
A zesty Cajun tomato sauce made with a golden roux, bell peppers and a splash of white wine. Available with shrimp. A low fat option.

J. Gumbo's GumboGumbo
Our home-style soup starts with a deep brown roux, onions and bell peppers and is slow-cooked for over 4 hours and served with tender chicken and andouille sausage.

Etouffée
Your choice of crawfish, chicken or shrimp in our hearty golden roux sauce with onions and celery and a dash of red, white and black pepper.

Bumblebee Stew (v)
A blend of yellow corn, stewed tomatoes, onions and black beans in a creamy sweet and spicy butter sauce.

White Chili (v)
Cajun white bean chili with stewed tomatoes, onion, cilantro, jalapeno and a hint of dill.

Tender chicken with garlic, olive oil, stewed tomatoes and Cajun spices slow-cooked with beer.

Voodoo Chicken
Slow-cooked chicken in a spicy Cajun tomato sauce with garlic and crushed red pepper, sprinkled with our Voodoo spice.

Jean Lafitte
Our famous Bumblebee Stew and Voodoo Chicken served over a flour tortilla and topped with shredded cheese and sour cream.
