Join J. Gumbo’s and the Children’s Hospital Foundation for the Baby Steps Walk-a-Thon, Saturday, March 29, 2008, at Louisville’s scenic Cherokee Park.
The Walk-a-Thon kicks off at 10 a.m. with a ton of fun activities for kids, including inflatables, face painting, music and games. The 2.6-mile loop walk begins at noon.

A great walk for a great cause
The J. Gumbo’s Baby Steps Walk-a-Thon will raise needed funds for Kosair Children’s Hospital’s most medically fragile patients. The funds will be used specifically to help finance the renovation of the hospital’s neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
The expanded NICU will provide more room for family members to be near their child and integrate a family-centered approach. This theory of care focuses on low noise and light levels, touch therapy, and the family’s complete involvement in decision making from day one.
Ready, Set...Walk!
To participate, download and complete the pledge form and bring it with you Saturday, March 29 to Hogan’s Fountain at Cherokee Park.
For more information, contact Tricia Guelda (J. Gumbo’s) at (812) 284-2753, or Anne Murphy (Children’s Hospital Foundation) at (502) 629-8062.
